Unless you publicly endorse abortion and LGBT, your rights as a Canadian will be curtailed.
From the press “The Liberal government is extending the deadline for applications for the Canada Summer Jobs program by one week, but will not remove a controversial clause requiring applicants to sign an attestation on abortion and LGBT rights.”
I never was one to be a religious fanatic, it went against my grain, but some things they did say, did stick in my mind. When I see what Trudeau (the kid) is doing, I cannot help but think what many pastors are now preaching, he just gave them a lot of cannon fodder.
I can hear it already! “That NO MAN will be able to buy or sell anything unless he has the mark of the beast.” Has now become “That NO MAN/WOMAN/LGBTQ will be able to buy or sell anything unless he has the mark of Justin”
Just how far is Justin will to take his attack on religion? Maybe he can so what Germany did, give all those who are willing to stand by their religion a tattoo that prohibits them from any government funding, but make them pay the taxes anyways.
OK enough fun, seriously though, the freedom of conscience allows both the LGBTQ communities to exist, as does the pro-abortion groups have the right not to believe in God, or his commandments, as do the atheists, as those who believe in Santa Claus and a red nosed reindeer.
There is no freedom of speech, if it is restricted in any way, shape of form by Justin’s attempt to force religion to except his version of what is morally right or wrong. Justin seems not to have a clue that his actions are ending the charter rights of Canadians in a very dirty and underhanded attempt to control tax payers money in his employment program.
The heart of the matter is, taxes are paid by all citizens, and as long as those citizens belong to legal organizations who do not commit crimes, then Justin has violated their rights under our constitution that insures that all citizens, not just atheists and LGBTQ have the right to Freedom of Conscience and Freedom of Religion
